My wife and I are members of a Massage Envy in our community, and they’ve been distributing a newsletter for the longest time. One of the receptionists at this location; Joanna, was the one calling us to remind us of our upcoming appointments. I remember her as being courteous and professional, and she went out of her way to greet us as soon as we walked in for our massage.
Joanna decided to leave Massage Envy to pursue other priorities, and I learned about this in their monthly newsletter. I took a closer look at the newsletter and noticed they have a simple formula at work.
I have done the analysis for you, and have identified the FOUR critical components of the newsletter that you can apply in your practice right away. This is an excellent, one page newsletter built on FOUR elements:
- The BIG Message
- Spotlighting (patient, physician, staff)
- Event Highlighting
- Offer
If you liked the video above, I am conducting a much more detailed webinar on “How To Add an Additional $40,000 in Annual Revenue Using Newsletter Marketing” in which I discuss the important of clinical, authority and bonding content in great detail. Consider this training to be a lot more advanced than the video above.

I think that aside from those 4 key components, an effective patient newsletter should have relevant
content in an attractive format. It should also be consistent in coming up with quality content.
I have been subscribing to this newsletter for years. I was really happy with the look and the content of
the newsletter but then it started to lose its consistency.
That was when I changed subscription to Therapy Newsletter.
And I've been a happy camper ever since.
Thanks Nitin!
