Differentiate Your Personal Training Business

If you try and become everything to everybody, you will end up becoming nothing to most people.

When you walk into a McDonald’s, you don’t expect too much in terms of ambiance and customer service. It’s a generic, run of the mill place. Your personal training business CANNOT afford to be the same way.

Back to McDonalds – you probably hesitate to spend more than a few dollars on a meal.

Now imagine you walk into a fine Italian restaurant. You perception of the quality of the restaurant is now shaped by the decor, plush granite countertops at the bar,  comfortable leather couches, candlelit tables and dazzling smiles from the servers.

How much will you spend now? Likely you might spend upwards of 50, even $100 on a meal. You tip would probably exceed the cost of the entire meal at McDonald’s.

Moral of the story – create a perception of grandeur in your personal training business. Make it look blue chip. This is one of the better fitness business tips you can use to improve profitability.

Perceptions are formed first and foremost based upon appearances. A patient is not going to see instant results in terms of pain relief, improved functional independence in the first visit.

In reality, the patient or client makes his or her decision to work with you based on the appearance of your clinic / facility and professional conduct.

Make your personal training and physical therapy business stand out.
